Case study
Rehearse the pitch, and the hard questions.
An AI judge students can pitch to out loud, answer questions from, and get graded by, as often as they want.
THE CLIENT
PROPEL Center, a national nonprofit that runs skills challenges for college students, in partnership with major employers.
THE PROBLEM
Students pitch in challenges like the Future of Tech Innovation Challenge but rarely get to rehearse in front of a judge first.
THE SOLUTION
pitchIQ lets every team practice the pitch and the tough Q&A as often as they want, so they walk in ready.
The student adds their idea or deck, gives a 1-minute or 3-minute pitch to an AI judge out loud, then answers the judge's follow-up questions.
It grades five areas: problem, solution, market, delivery, and Q&A, plus an overall score out of 100. The student gets back:
- Their scores
- Feedback on the pitch and the answers
- The questions judges are likely to ask
- Free resources to sharpen up
- A PDF of the scorecard
Score 80 or higher and they earn a "Pitch Ready" badge. Like interviewIQ, nothing is saved: no recording, no transcript, nothing on the student's profile.
- Add your idea or deck
- Pitch for 1 or 3 minutes
- Answer the judge
- Get your scorecard

WHAT CHANGED FOR THE CLIENT
- Every team can rehearse in front of a judge, not just the ones who find one
- Students practice the hard questions, not only the pitch
- Feedback comes right away, with the questions to prepare for
- A badge students can share when they're ready
- Private by design: no recording, no transcript, nothing on their profile
pitchIQ lives in PROPEL IQ, on the student's profile in PROPEL Talent, next to interviewIQ.
